also the "This Day Aria" was an AMAZING song omg.

It wasn't my favorite song, but it was nice. The music in this ep was both good, and not so good. I'm still making my final decisions on it. Gonna have to watch it a third time.
I'm okay with this.
I find myself able to relate to Twilight disturbingly much in this episode.

As for vinyls eyes, they were leaked a little while ago in one of the games that the Hub made for MLP.
There was a vinyl character and someone got their hands on the flash characters (I forget what they call it now. I haven't used flash in many moons) for it. Removed the glasses, and found the exact hex code for her eyes. It was not confirmed at the time but it's the same colour used in the episode. #BF1D79 in case you were curious.

My cynical nature wishes to see a antagonist that succeeds in changing their society in a realistic,surgical,profound and lasting way who doesn't look obviously evil and is not disposed to overconfidence, but possible damages to the general perception to the TV show would likely be profound and probably deprecating to it's success , and thus, an implementation of this would be unlikely (1% chance per major antagonist EX Nightmare moon, discord, queen chrysalis).

I figure that if such a antagonist were to be implemented, then the series will depart from it's roots cartoony antics and shift toward the quixotic combination of humor and cynicism.

It would be interesting if the show took a sudden turn for the "no longer for kids".
There are many a great value and aspect that would not deviate from the meaning of the show that simply cannot be sold to children.
I'm not sure what I'd think of such a turn, but I'd be interested in finding out.
