If you are aware of "sponsorpay" the following may be redundant.


To those impatient to advertize their projects I offer a possible solution, in the form of a web service known as "sponsorpay". I know hardly anything on this service, but I do know one perspective on it.

When I was playing around in the Free-to-play browser game "tiberium alliances" you can acquire in game cash (the stuff you normally would have to pay Real life money for) by clicking on some buttons (getting there is besides the point) which then leads you to a list of tasks such as setting up an account or watching a video which once preformed awards the performer some in game cash.

Now here comes the pragmatic part.

Piedoom you could have this forum (or whatever) appear on that list of tasks and require players to create an account here (or something) for them to receive in game cash which would then make people (preferably bronies) come here, to liven this place up (if you somehow feel that yourself, Neveda0, anonymous14z, and everybody else, were generating insufficient activity here for your tastes.)

Additionally you could take a look at a few suggestions on this thread if you want more ideas.

I feel soo bad (I feel like a solicitor), I'll delete this as soon as I suspect anyone with admin powers looks at this (or when the thread has 20 views) . (I post in the first place because this stuff might be useful)

To ensure that this is being noticed/read/observed I'll provide an update here in the form of a unneeded update.

I have now added an additional criteria that once met, will prompt me to delete this thread.

Once this thread has reached 20 views I'll delete it.

I've been thinking of making a few images and 'posters' to advertise this game, I'm just waiting for the OK from higher up and a few basic ideas of what Piedoom wants the basic 'feel' of the images to be before I start.

You seem to have a penchant for deleting posts/threads now don't you?
I haven't seen Piedoom in a while. I'll be leaning on him tomorrow to see what's going on.
I honestly don't care to particularly much about the activity on the forums. I want to make a product. If people are excited about said product, great! If not, well, that won't stop me from making it.
We do need more people though. More people on the technical side. I don't have contacts, I don't have people I can ask to do modeling and animating and level design. If there were a way to get more, and more capable people on to the team, and not just the half hearted people I've managed to bring on thus far, I think their addition will have a synergistic effect on the team as a whole. But I don't know the people with the necessary skill, nor do I know where to find them.

I would like to make it aware to anybody viewing this, I cannot delete the thread, and I find it somewhat rude to remove the content related to the title in the first post. Thus I'll leave it to the discretion of any administrators whether to delete this thread or not.
